Last week I was opportune to attend the BLK/OPL Launch and it was an amazing experience. The event took place on Thursday March 7, 2018 at the Soul bar hotel intercontinental.

If you’re a makeup enthusiast you’d know that Black Opal now known as BLK/OPL is a black owned makeup line that caters for makeup needs for women of color.

The brand, first established in 1994, was brought into Nigeria in 1996 by the famous Mrs Kudirat Fashola (Kuddy Cosmetics) and since then, they have remained a household brand. The new line not only featured a name change but also a different packaging and a wider range of products that is not just pocket friendly but also considerate of our climate.

In attendance were makeup artists, Beauty influencers, bloggers, media personalities and many more. I got to take pictures with Kehinde Smith, Dodos as well as other faves!

How can I forget the amazing Bayles drink, sweet kiwi yoghurt and the small chops!!!

I decided to opt for a very casual outfit because of my mood, at some point I was feeling some type of way because everyone was on heels and looking like a snack but then I remembered my outfit wasn’t basic (Thanks to my G).
