DIY: Tinted Brow Gel

Currently listening to MO – Final Song

Ever since I became interested in makeup I’ve been obsessed with brows. It took me about 4 years to be able to learn the art of fleeking brows all by myself (and YouTube) and I must say I’m pretty impressed with how well I have improved. However, over time I realized that due to our hot climate and humidity my brows never make it to the end of the day and trust me when I say it ain’t cool.

Not to panic y’all, H & E brow pomade got us girls. This product is just amazing but if you’ve got oily skin and brows like me then you’ll definitely need reinforcements and that brings me to to today’s post.

What You’ll Need

  • Eco styler olive oil hair gel
  • Brown eyeshadow (light and dark brown)
  • Empty mascara bottle
  • Bowl and spoon for mixing

All you need to do is to take some hair gel 1/2 – 1 teaspoon depending on the size of the mascara bottle) and mix in your shadows depending on how dark or light you want it to be and that’s it! Very easy and straight forward. No need for oils and the likes cos the gel kinda contains some kind of oil. Here’s a picture of my brow at 1pm and at 9 pm after using my brow gel

That’s it for today’s post and I must say I’m really digging this DIY cos it was really easy and it works! All I spent was #350 and that was for the mascara bottle and another amazing feature of this brow gel is the fact that if you have full brows and you’re not in a makeup mood you can just use this to brush your brows in place and you’re good to go! I hope you enjoyed this post, do have a wonderful week and stay blessed!

Cheers!!

  2. This post came at the right time. I recently tried a friends brow mascara and fell in love with the tinted brow look and have been searching for brow mascara ever since. I’ll definitely be trying this out, but I’ll be using the zaron brow filler to get it done. I’m also going to be tagging you as soon as I do it.
    Thank you for the juice!
