MOTD: Soft Glam

Soft Glam

One of my greatest insecurities was (well it still is) my appearance. I’ve always felt I didn’t look pretty enough because of my hooded lids but lately seeing other people with hooded eyelids has kinda boosted my confidence level. I decided to try a soft brownish nude look simply because I’m usually doing lots of colors on here, so if your a soft glam kinda girl then this inspo is for you.

Looking at all my creations I couldn’t be more proud of myself and how far I’ve come in my self thought journey. Before I used to think that if I sought for help it’ll mean I failed at mastering a skill but now I understand I’ll be doing myself a huge disfavor if i don’t seek help, so to this effect I’m going to reach out to some professional makeup artists, take time off work and do a proper course on this artistry. I wanted so much to go to Layefa beauty but shes so far away from where I am, however I would greatly appreciate your recommendations in the comments section. Do have a lovely day and stay blessed!

Cheers!!

      1. They focus on specific areas. Most people go into proper details on makeup applications, their tools, gele tying and even how they edit their pictures using facetune and photoshop. They send you pre recorded videos. And you’ll be able to ask them any question during that period and maybe show them what you’ve practiced. I saw the sneakpeek of the soo pros august class and it looked so detailed. I feel like she’s a pretty detailed person. So basically i think thats just what its about. Most makeup artists are doing it now. But she’s the only one I’ll advice you to pay for, if you want to down that route. If you want to go for a proper class try her too. I’ve seen her bridal rates and they’re within the 80k range so if her bridal rates are that cheap her makeup classes would be. If you need more help assessing more artists I’m here for you. You just have to be really careful with the person you choose to learn from.

      2. Yes ooo. The funny thing is I already saw her page yesterday and I was like she’s good oo but when I saw her location I assumed she was based abroad. I just have her a call and I think I’ll go with her plus she stays around me, which is a life saver!!! Would love to attend one of these WhatsApp classes too. Thank you so much Joyce!
