Guys I think I have a problem, I’m addicted to Denim and I’m not sure if it’s a good thing. What I do know is that Denim is Me and that brings me today’s post.

If we were given a dollar for anytime the phrase Be you is being used I’m sure we’d all be billionaires right now.  A lot of times people say those words without putting in much thought into the whole meaning of the phrase.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s important to be you but let’s not forget that not all of you is good. Not all of you is supposed to stay with you. There are certain traits we all have and exhibit that we should strive to eliminate from our lives because they are harmful to either us or the society.

 
When the phrase be you is used that don’t mean you have to bring out the lying, scheming, manipulative part of you to succeed. You need to be able to drop some habits before you can progress. My pastor said only a wise man knows when to learn, unlearn and relearn. 

Learn new things when you have to, Unlearn old habits (they don’t necessarily have to be bad) and Relearn how to be better! Only then will you see growth and progress.
So don’t just be you, be the you that is open to change, that is willing to learn, unlearn and relearn.
