Hello my beautiful people and if you’re new to my blog, you are most definitely welcome! Before I jump into todays post I just want to appreciate all my followers, new and old for the love y’all showed me on my last outfit post *Namaste*.
Last weekend I got to attend the 6th edition of the Lagos Make-Up Fair and I wouldn’t say I totally enjoyed it. When going for shows/events like this one be sure to go with a friend, I went alone so it was kinda boring. No one to take me pictures, no one to deliberate with on which product to buy or not, no one to basically have fun with!
It was a 2-day event but I attended only on the second day. The venue was packed full and I must say it was pretty organized. Adequate space to move around but not loiter. Some of the exhibitors I visited was Sitpretty, Nuban, Zaron, Hushbeauty and BeautyKink. I must say I was really impressed with the Beautykink lashes that were on display. The faux ones are really beautiful and the normal ones were just as good, I’m definitely saving up to buy my first pair. I also got some stuff from other beauty retailers (beauty haul post will be up soon).
For this event I wanted something casual but still eye catching so I went for a denim tube dress and paired it with a denim skirt (alternative here).
Outfit Details
Shirt – Thrifted
Skirt – Thrifted
Shoes – Next
Ankara Bag – Sister-in-law
Wig – Roadside
The wig gave an overall Asian-American vibe which I was totally digging. However, I was really confused with what to do on my face but this is what I ended up with.
Guess who decided to photobomb my shot!
That’s all for this post guys. I must commend the organizers of this event as they keep improving each year. I’ll be doing a beauty haul post next and the product reviews will follow suit. Take care and stay blessed!
Cheers!!
That lip color is everthing! ❤
