Currently listening to Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee ft JB – Despacito
Hello beautiful people! Hope we had a great week and if you didn’t well it’s the weekend, make sure to make the most of it.
So todays post is inspired by another blog post I read on (quirksandoutfits) about starting a skincare routine. Before now I never had a skincare routine cos I felt they weren’t necessary, now I know better. No matter how good and amazing your skin is, it is still necessary to take proper care of it, and nourish it. Here are the produtcs I use and when I use them.
Face to Face facial Peel Off Mask
There are a couple of reviews on this product and they all speak well (see here, here and here). I decided to get one and I’m glad I did. I use this mask once a week – Saturdays for a thorough face cleansing Routine.
Beauty formula Blackhead Facial Scrub and Mary Kay Timewise
When trying to start a skincare routine it is very important to listen to your skin and give it what it wants, I listened to mine and these two products are just what my skin wants. I have very sensitive skin so when it comes to scrubs I’m very sceptical but the beauty formula blackhead control Scrub is so smooth and the granules are fine making it suitable for my skin. I use it twice weekly, usually on weekends. The Mary Kay Timewise is more of a cream cleanser that leaves your face so moisturuzed. I use it 5 times a week, on weekdays.
DIY Apple Cider Vinegar Toner
This is officially my first holy grail skincare product. This Toner has got me singing Beyonce’s Flawless-I woke up like this! Ever since I started using it I’ve noticed how my skin looks brighter and my oil levels seem to be just normal and sufficient to keep my skin glowing. I use it everyday – morning and night. All you need for this Toner is equal proportion of ACV and water, I used half cup of each.

That’s it for my first skincare routine. All products excluding the ACV cost less than #5,000 at the time of purchase. Do have a lovely weekend and stay blessed.
Cheers!!
Do you have a skincare routine? What’s your holy grail product? Do let me know in the comments section.

That’s it! The fourth time I’m hearing of this face to face mask. I needed to pop down to the market for some errands so as soon as I finished reading this I left. Some how..I sit in front of my computer typing this, with a bag next to me in which there is a face to face product inside. You guys have finally convinced me to try it out lmao, and the price didn’t hurt at all! I hope I’ll have a good experience too!
Given that my skin is sooo…annoying, I have hopped on so many products before and ACV is one of them. I think my face started clearing but then the routine just collapsed due to life. I really need a strict regimen! Lord help me on this skin journey

You’re welcome! I use it in my recipes, and some calls for acv. I’m not a salad person, but you can also use it to make salad dressing and vinaigrettes.
