Product Review: BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow and Blush Pallete

“There’s only one legitimate synonym for Friday: Boom Shakalaka!

Trust me this is literally how I feel every Friday, I can’t help it!!! The fact that I don’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn is enough for me to be super excited. And I’m just really super thankful to God for making me see the month of March cos I know it’s going to be an amazing month for me. I’m sure by now y’all must know how much I love makeup and so today I’m gonna tell you why my BH Cosmetics 26 Color Eyeshadow Palette is my all time multi purpose palette so far.

Packaging

It comes in a plastic palette which I think isn’t a bad idea, less breakables to worry about. Doesn’t come with a brush or mirror for application (which imo sucks!).

Pigmentation

Ok so this is the koko! The pigmentation in this palette is pretty ok.  If you’re looking for a more intense look using this palette you can achieve it with the help of a milk pencil (see here) and also spraying your brush with a setting spray (see also). Minimal fall out during application.

Now to the interesting part *rubs hand*

Variation

This palette is neutral shade one and as the name implies the colors are cool toned ranging from nude to brown, blush pink to orange, purple to grey. Shades comebin matte, satin and shimmer.

How I use it

Contour – Dark brown (matte)

Highlight – Gold, blush pink, orange (shimmers)

Blush – Blush shades at the bottom (matte and satin)

So basically I don’t have to carry a lot of product around especially when I travel or go for sleepovers (which I do a lot) cos I have like a 3-in-1 palette. This palette goes for about Six Thousand Naira and I’d have to rate it 7/10 simply because it doesn’t have a matte orange shade. I hope this post was helpful and if there’s anything else you’d like to see on my blog please let me know in the comment section below. Have an amazing weekend.

Cheers!!!
