Makeup Review – Classic and Kiss beauty

Tired doesn’t even come close to how I feel right now! I hope y’all had a better day than I did. So anyways I’ve had a lot of people come up to me asking what makeup products I use to achieve my “flawless” look (I hope you caught the sarcasm there 😏) and when I tell them it’s the cheap stuff they  turn me to market woman 😒. Some New products have started gaining popularity in the makeup market and honestly speaking they aren’t so bad! Right now with the economy and all that’s been going on it’s only wise that we spend wisely.  So today I’m gonna be talking about two naija drugstore products that I use – Classic and Kiss Beauty.

Classic Eyeshadow

I’ll start with the pros. The colors are just lovely! And the variety is impressive for a drugstore brand. It also has a good packaging. Now to the cons, theres a lot of flyaways during application and pigmentation isn’t so great. However, when used with a milk pencil it turns out ok, you just have to build it up.

I’ll totally recommend this product for anyone who’s just learning to make themselves up for a day to day look.

Classic Foundation

There are two types of classic foundation but I’ll only be talking about the tube one

This foundation right here is a tortoise (very cunny). The first time I tried it I was actually in awe of how much this little guy was doing but after subsequent usage I realized a few things. It is heavy on the face! It’s coverage isn’t so great either cos when you sweat or answer a call it just wipes away leaving you with patches 😫. However, when mixed with a very light foundation such as maybelline it gives a beautiful finish. Do not try this foundation if you have oily skin. If you have very dry skin and you’re going for a dewy look, by all means try it but with a good face primer (not necessarily expensive).

Kiss beauty

Pardon my nails🙈.

When there’s recession and you can’t do without a milk pencil, you search for alternatives and I just happened to come across this kiss beauty white pencil. I’ve been using it to make my eyeshadow pop and also for my undereye waterline #NoRegrets. The eyeliner is also really impressive

The tip is precise and the pigmentation is quite good too. For those of us still on that wing struggle, this felt pen is the truth!

Classic eyeshadow – 1,000

Classic foundation – 1,000

Kiss Beauty white pencil – 500

Kiss Beauty felt pen – 500

All products can be gotten at any market, where the beauty line is.

If there’s any other makeup brand you’ll like me to do a review on please lemme know in the comments below.

Ciao ✌🏼️

    1. I don’t think that’s a good idea. The classic foundation works well when you have dry skin but pairing it with a two way cake will just be too much product on your face which can result in clogged pores
